Suitable for use with telescopic loft ladders.

Complies with NHBC. Provides upto 60 minutes fire protection and is Class O surface spread flame classification.

U value 0.82 W/m2k

Installation Advice:

  • Designed to fit between ceiling joists spaced 600mm centres to provide a clear joist opening width of 562mm to be plasterboard lined to give 542mm
  • If the roof design does not provide this joist opening width, a suitable opening must be formed
  • It is essential that trimmers are installed between the ceiling joists across the end of the frame
  • The frame fixes ten screws (supplied) - three through each side and two through each end
  • A 50mm tall by 10mm thick protective plasterboard surround is required along all 4 sides of the trimmed opening.
